. Vision and Mission

 At Act Design Shop, we strive to offer not only comfortable beanbags but also stylish eye-catchers that fit into any interior. Our mission is to create products that seamlessly combine design and functionality, so that everyone can enjoy ultimate comfort at home without compromising on style.

 Because we really enjoyed sitting in beanbags at home, we had one in our house for several years. However, we thought the beanbags we had looked terribly ugly. But because we didn't want to get rid of them just because they were too comfortable, we decided to look for something else. But these weren't beanbags, so you don't get the experience of how a beanbag feels.

 Later in 2023, we came up with the idea to see if this could be improved. So we created a design and had one made. The first model was a total failure and looked different than expected. Because they are beanbags, we hadn't taken into account that they might sag. So the design had to be redone. This was also a failure and still didn't look the way we had wanted. After trying several times, we finally kept our first design for our own use.

 Our background for the beanbag designs didn't come out of nowhere either. With a successful business in art statues, we already have some experience creating original designs and supplying them to hundreds of customers via an external seller platform.

 At some point, we unfortunately had to say goodbye to our first beanbags to make room for new designs, as they no longer fit our current interior. We sold them via a second-hand platform, and to our surprise, we were flooded with responses. Everyone wanted to know where the beanbags came from and who had designed them.

 Customer Focus

 We believe that our customers play an important role in our success. Their feedback and ideas have helped us refine our designs. We listen to what people really want and adapt our designs accordingly, so that every beanbag perfectly matches our customers' wishes.

 During the design of our beanbags, we spent months extensively testing various sizes, shapes, materials, and colors. Comfort had to be right for us and was the most important factor alongside the design. So we weighed up many different positions, from sitting upright to stretched out, and with or without armrests. We also considered the choice of different materials and colors to determine what feels warm or cool. But there was much more involved, which spiraled into a true obsession with designing the ideal beanbag.

Our bean bags are made from carefully selected materials that not only last a long time but are also environmentally friendly.
