OUR CONSTRUCTION
We use proven and tested traditional shoemaking methods, to ensure excellent quality, fit, and craftsmanship. Our shoes go through an iterative process from design and development through pattern cutting and clicking to lasting, closing and finishing. Every process is completed by hand.
We use both Blake rapid stitched and Goodyear welted construction methods, which enable our shoes to be resoled (repaired) several times by any experienced cobbler, giving you value for money.
OUR LEATHER
The quality of our shoes starts with the quality of our leather. That’s why we only use calfskin leather from some of the finest tanneries in Europe. These tanneries have a long history and tradition of producing high-quality leather that meets our strict environmental standards.
Our calfskin leather is soft and supple, yet durable and resilient. It adapts to your feet and conform to your shape, giving you a comfortable and personalized fit. It also ages gracefully over time, developing a rich and unique patina that reflects your style and personality.
We offer a variety of leather types and finishes, such as smooth, pebbled, suede, nubuck, patent and more.
OUR SHOEMAKERS
Our shoes are handcrafted by a team of talented and experienced Artisans in Porto, Portugal. They are part of a small family-run workshop that has been making shoes for generations and has earned a reputation for producing high quality shoes for many luxury brands.
We work closely with our shoemakers to design and develop our shoe models, using their expertise and feedback to refine our product offerings.
Our shoemakers are passionate about their craft and take pride in their work. They use traditional techniques and tools to create each pair of shoes by hand, paying attention to every detail and stitch. They also inspect each pair of shoes before sending them to us, ensuring that they meet our high standards of quality and craftsmanship.
OUR CRAFTMANSHIP
Our products are handcrafted by Portuguese artisans. They exhibit excellent craftsmanship with strong attention to detail.
All products come in limited editions and are not mass produced, which enables us to emphasise quality, fit, and style.
